SMS Messaging Policy

Effective Date: March 22, 2025

This policy applies to SMS messages sent by businesses that use the Flyra platform to communicate with their customers.

1. Who Sends These Messages

Flyra is a field service CRM platform used by independent service businesses (such as window cleaning, exterior maintenance, and home service companies). When you receive an SMS, the sender is the individual business that booked your service — not Flyra directly. Flyra provides the messaging infrastructure on behalf of these businesses.

2. How Your Phone Number Was Collected

Your mobile phone number was collected in person by a sales representative at the time of your service agreement. Specifically:

  • A sales representative visited your property and presented the service offering
  • You agreed to book the service and provided your mobile phone number to the representative
  • The representative explained that by providing your number you consent to receive SMS updates related to your booked service
  • Your number and timestamped consent were entered into the Flyra CRM at the point of contact

Your consent was given voluntarily. You are not required to provide your phone number to receive the service.

3. Types of Messages You Will Receive

All messages sent through Flyra are transactional only. You may receive:

  • Appointment confirmation messages
  • Technician arrival notifications and estimated arrival times
  • Service completion receipts and follow-ups
  • Scheduling reminders or rescheduling notices
  • Account or invoice notifications related to your booked service

You will not receive promotional, marketing, or advertising messages. Messages are sent only in connection with services you have already agreed to.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your service activity. You will typically receive messages only when a service appointment is scheduled, in progress, or completed. You will not receive recurring daily or weekly messages unless directly related to an active or upcoming service.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Flyra and the service businesses using our platform do not charge any fees for SMS messages.

6. How to Opt Out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time. To stop receiving messages:

  • Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately
  • You may also reply UNSUBSCRIBE at any time
  • After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS messages
  • To resubscribe, reply START at any time

7. How to Get Help

Reply HELP to any message to receive contact information for the business that sent it. You may also contact Flyra directly at info@flyra.io if you have questions about this policy or the messaging program.

8. Data Privacy — No Third-Party Sharing

Mobile opt-in data, including your phone number and consent records, will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Your phone number is used solely to deliver transactional service messages on behalf of the business that collected your consent. It is stored securely in Flyra's platform and is accessible only to the business that serves you and to Flyra as the platform operator.

Flyra uses Telnyx as its SMS carrier partner solely for message delivery. Telnyx processes messages in compliance with CTIA guidelines and carrier requirements. No personal data is shared with Telnyx beyond what is necessary to route and deliver your messages.

9. Supported Carriers

SMS messaging is supported by all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Carrier support may vary.
